Mike Woodborne is a M.Sc.(Geology) graduate from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and has been involved in the diamond exploration and mining industry for more than 25 years. He has specialist knowledge and practical experience in the areas of marine mineral exploration and mining technologies as well as marine geophysics. He ran an independent consultancy for 10 years before taking up a corporate role that has included senior positions in both private and public companies in the resource industry. Mr Woodborne was appointed CEO/Managing Director of Bonaparte in October 2004 when the company was listed.
