Kevin has more than 30 years experience in the global mining and
minerals industry, including projects in a wide range of minerals and metals, notably for gold, diamonds, copper, iron ore, platinum and coal. Kevin is a recognized authority in diamond recovery and dense medium
separation. He has had leading technical roles in most of the major diamond projects carried out in Australia and internationally over the post three decades, including those for Argyle, Ekati and Diavik as well as in several major diamond projects and evaluation studies for De Beers. He also served as a director of TSE-listed Diamond Fields International during the evaluation and establishment of Diamond Fields’ marine diamond operations at Luderitz on the coast of Namibia. Kevin holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of the
Witwatersrand and is a Fellow of the Australian Institution of Mining and Metallurgy, the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and of Engineers Australia. |
