Ed holds an honours degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK and an MBA from the University of Queensland, Australia. He has 30 years experience in mining and construction projects in Australia, Europe, Asia and South Africa with major mining houses Anglo American, De Beers Consolidated Mines, MIM Limited (XStrata) and Rio Tinto. Ed has extensive experience in orientating mining operations toward innovation and advanced mining technology.
From November 2006, Ed has led the development and construction of Rio Tinto’s Argyle Diamond Mine underground project as Project Director.
